Terms of Service

Your account

You must give a valid work email address and keep your sign in details secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including actions of members you invite. The workspace owner decides who joins, which role each member has and which projects they can access. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to buy a plan.

Subscriptions and billing

ImageLabeling is sold only as a subscription. You choose a plan (Starter, Team, Business or Enterprise) and a monthly or yearly billing period. Prices and limits are listed on image annotation tool pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

• Payments are taken at the start of each period by our payment operator.
• Moving to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference right away, and the new limits apply once that payment succeeds.
• Moving to a lower plan takes effect without a refund of the current period.
• You can cancel at any time in your workspace. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your access runs to the end of the paid period.
• Payments are final, except in the cases listed in the refund policy.
• Prices may change for future periods. We tell you by email before a new price applies to your renewal.

The free demo

The homepage offers a free demo that labels one image. It is not a plan, it is limited per visitor and per day, and images uploaded to it are deleted after 24 hours.

AI pre-labeling quota per plan

Each plan includes a monthly number of images that can be pre-labeled by AI: 1,000 on Starter, 3,500 on Team, 12,000 on Business and 35,000 on Enterprise. One image pre-labeled by AI once counts as one image. Manual labeling, edits, reviews and re-exports do not count. Deleting images does not restore quota, because the AI work was already done. Unused quota does not carry over to the next period. When the quota is used up, manual labeling keeps working until the next period starts or you move to a higher plan.

AI output

AI pre-labels are a first draft. You are responsible for reviewing labels before you use a dataset to train or deploy a model. We do not guarantee that any label is correct or complete.

Your images and labels

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the labels, schemas and exports created in your workspace. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display that content only to provide the service to you, including sending images to an AI model provider to produce labels. We never use your images to train third party models. You can export your data at any time in COCO, YOLO, Pascal VOC or CSV.

Our software

The service, its software, design and documentation belong to us. You may use them only through your subscription and within these terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the service.

Acceptable use

You confirm that you have the right to upload every image you send to the service. You must not use ImageLabeling to:

• upload content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors or that you have no right to process,
• upload images of people in breach of privacy or biometric laws that apply to you,
• break or test the security of the service without our written permission,
• overload the service, scrape it, or bypass plan limits, quotas or access controls,
• send spam or malware through the service or the API.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules and remove the content involved.

Medical and regulated use

ImageLabeling labels images for research and model training. It is not a medical or diagnostic device, and its labels must not be used as clinical advice.

Managed labeling

On Business and Enterprise you can add vetted annotators as a monthly retainer, from 899 USD per month per dedicated annotator. Annotators work inside your workspace under your schema and QA rules and keep your content confidential. The retainer is a subscription and follows the same billing rules as your plan.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Enterprise includes a 99.9 percent uptime SLA. Support is provided by email at [email protected] on business days and inside the workspace.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The service is provided as is and as available, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data that you did not export, or decisions made from model output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights consumers have under mandatory law.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or does not pay. After a subscription ends, workspace content is kept for a limited period so you can export it, and is then deleted, as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We notify account holders by email about material changes before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies.
